The Dragonfly 4 Port acoustic-electric bass blends sound and style in a visually and sonically striking instrument that’s perfect for stage performances, studio sessions, or jam sessions. The body itself is entirely constructed from Macassar Ebony in Michael Kelly’s unique Port-style construction with a full 34" scale length for a warm tone and plenty of body. The C-shaped neck profile makes for comfortable playing, and the Abalone and Pearl dragonfly inlay in the fretboard gives this bass a distinct, eye-catching visual flair.

    Michael Kelly’s guitars are built to deliver the best possible sound using unique bracing and construction for new sound port placements on the instrument. An offset front port creates an unbroken connection between the bridge and the neck that resonates more and provides clearer and louder sound. A side port also acts as a personal monitor, projecting sound upwards so you can hear your playing more clearly.
